Yesterday, 23 December 2009, was the registration exercise for new secondary 1 students. The few available PSG committee members, including Chairperson Wee Wang, Vice Chair Tuan See, Masni, Haz, Fiona, Janette and I, went down to assist in the recruitment of new PSG members.
Parents started streaming in at 8am. Our table, set up next to the entrance, was like an information counter for the parents.
Handouts? Where to sit? And by the way, we are from the Parent Support Group…
After the speeches by the Vice Principals, Wee Wang presented for the PSG segment. She spoke on the objectives of PSG and the past events held. Her slides reminded me…we really did have plenty of fun.
The highlight of the morning was when Lee Hsu Wen, Tuan See’s daughter, went on stage to tell the parents how she felt about her father being in the PSG. We’re so proud of you, Hsu Wen!
So Parents of new Sec 1 students, we look forward to you joining us.
